A new phase 1200 plus 6th form secondary school, commenced 2004, completed 2009.
As chief Architect in Milton Keynes for 11 years Andrew Armes was responsible for some 75 major education projects, including 4 new secondary schools.
Andrew Armes led the team which designed this new secondary school.
Hazeley is shown here by way of example, as he was responsible for the strategic approach, concept design and actively involved in the first phase situated on rising land to the west side of the city, Hazeley overlooks the city.
Advantage was taken of its location, with the large spaces such as the dining hall, sports hall and main hall being sited to take advantage of the views with the hall and sports hall interlinked by acoustic screens to provide the opportunity for whole school assemblies and performances.
