Place-check
Woughton, Milton Keynes

Andrew Armes led the largest Place-check exercise in the Country, covering 8 wards in the Woughton Parish, housing 13,000 people.7 of 8 wards are areas of social deprivation and the purpose of the exercise was to directly engage local people in determining the Regeneration Strategy for their areas using ‘Place-check’ methodology culminating in an priortised Area Action Plan.

This was highly branded and visible process, using a flower with 8 petals representing the wards as its symbol .The ‘petals’ were used to record ‘likes’ on one side and don’t likes on the other.
